Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle
  • Yellow Loop

It isn't uncommon to see impromptu yoga, pick-up games of chess and locals with their dogs making use of this social circle. You’ll find dozens of bistros, bars and boutiques in the Dupont Circle neighborhood. The green space inside Dupont Circle is actually one of the smaller sites administered by the National Park Service. The circle is named for Civil War rear admiral Samuel Francis Du Pont. The white marble fountain at the park’s center is a popular meeting spot for office workers, tourists, and all manners of passersby. Source: washington.org
